Biography
From Wales, UK, Director and Writer Jessica Dunrod, is a multi-award winning Children’s author, Translator, Historian and Campaigner. Often described in national press as a “trailblazer”, Jessica’s multidisciplinary work and solutions based books focused on empowering Black children, have made a historical impact on the Welsh education system and publishing sector, with her titles dedicated to her St. Kitts and Nevis – Welsh heritage, positively changing and continuing to support the new Welsh curriculum.
In addition to her work in publishing, education, anti-racism and history and heritage, Jessica is also the Director of her own multilingual translation firm supporting brands with international commerce and communications.
Jessica’s ethics and expertise have afforded her a trusted public profile, and is often requested for her consultation by national institutions, governing bodies and national broadcasters in the UK.
